Teacher Training
Workshop
Summer 2011
Ruth C. Petrinovic has been training dancers and teachers for over 40 years. Her training method applies the principles of kinesiology and anatomy to the heritage of the Vaganova, Checchetti and RAD schools.
Most students do not have the "ideal" body structure for ballet and many will develop injuries from being forced to work in a manner that is not suited for their individual body structure or type. By helping teachers understand the structural limitations of their students, the potential of injury and frustration is greatly reduced. The student will enjoy the freedom of moving with the natural flow of energy, rather than against it, allowing them to develop to their full potential.
"There are few people in the profession that you can trust like Ruth who has the knowledge and gets results. She has been responsible for helping me achieve my position in dance today" David Howard, Master Teacher and Choreographer
